Jeroulene was a candy maker for Beich's Candy, Now Nestle-Beichs, but also an amazing homemaker. She was all about her family and found time to care for and raise her three beautiful children, keep a house well decorated and very clean, draw a bath and iron for her husband every evening, not as though these were mere tasks to accomplish but because this is part of how she showed her love. Jeroulene and her husband Harlan were longstanding members of Full Gospel Tabernacle of Heyworth, and charter members of Victory Christian Center of Bloomington. Jeroulene was an avid prayer warrior and reader of the Word. She was a member of the New Inspiration Singers. She loved camping, she was a fantastic cook, a doll collector, and she was also very crafty, serving as a floral arranger for many family functions.
Jeroulene is survived by her husband Harlan Herald. Also surviving are her three children; Gayle (Archie) Nowell, Connie (Michael) Fisher, and Harlan Edward (Beth) Herald, her sister Barbara Louise Hartman, her 9 grandchildren; Tara (Josh) Moss, Shane (Sheila) Nowell, Austin (Jené) Marshall, Scott (Amanda) Nowell, Chandella (Tom) Long, Joshua (Christy) Marshall, Brandon (Maraline) Herald, Jarrod (Elizabeth) Herald, and Matthew (Amber) Herald, and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Jack Burgess, William Burgess, Bobby Snow Burgess, Sharon Flanders and Betty Ferguson.
Visitation is set for 5:00pm-8:00pm Friday March 27 at Victory Christian Center of Bloomington. Services will be held Saturday, March 28 also at Victory Christian Center of Bloomington, at 10:00am.
